Weather

I am going to talk about that most British of things. The Weather!

It is thundering and chucking down hailstones outside my window. Along with the brief slot of the sun between that and the torrential rain. Coupled with last weeks snow it feels like Winter. Yes of course it is spring.

Well it looks a bit sunny now although I can see clouds rolling in from the West. Hopefully I will get a sunny patch when I make the dash for the car.

We were under a tornado watch yesterday, and got stormed on; and today it's supposed to snow. It's no wonder everyone likes to talk about the weather ...

Thankfully we do not have any twisters here. Although we had a couple on the coast about 20 miles south of me a couple of years ago.Now we are just having April showers, would be traditional except they're cold.

A year ago today we had half a foot of snow. *sigh* We can take some consolation in the knowledge that April's better than February, anyway ...

If you think that's bad, I've had warm mornings, cold wet days, mild evenings and every combination of that you can think of.

That is a pain. It's also one of the reasons I keep an umbrella in the briefcase to avoid the spring and summer downpour.

Much like the way shops are heated so the staff can work in shirtsleeves whilst the customers are melting.:-)
