Local Elections

There were no local elections around our way. But maybe the faint stirrings of the people waking up are being heard. Hopefully Boris can slay Red Ken tonight. The election speak is as amusing as always. Listening being code for these are appalling results and we will definitely not listen.

Apparently there has also just been a court ruling on an EU referendum. Have to investigate that. Still whilst the call for small government is gaining pace I sense I am still in a minority here.

Ken may be an arsehole, but he's better than the racist, lying homophobe. Of course, I'm a blatent lefty.

I feel the say way about Ken.:-)

But I was suprised at how gracious both speeches were and Ken's interviews this morning. The good thing about the contest is a least turnout was up. The last two Mayorial elections have had very low turnouts. Hopefully the next time it will go over 50%.

Still these as always are only pointers. John Major had similar but not as bad results and went on to win the election. Personally, I hope the that will not be the case, I presume you will.:-)

When I saw Boris Johnson on BBC America last night, the first thing that popped into my mind was that "he has worse hair than I do!"
